We Started by Sitting Down Together — As a Couple
Fertility is a shared journey, and successful treatment starts with understanding both partners. From day one, we evaluate you together to uncover the root cause of infertility and create a personalized path forward.
What Sets Us Apart
Your Path to Pregnancy Starts With Real Answers
If you and your partner have been trying to conceive without success — or you've been told "everything looks normal" while month after month goes by — you deserve more than a single semen analysis. A personalized male fertility consultation with Dr. Jennifer Redmond uncovers the hormonal, metabolic, and lifestyle factors that conventional fertility workups often miss in men.

Who This Is For
Is This For You? When a Male Fertility Consultation Is the Right Move
Trying to conceive can be one of the most emotional and exhausting journeys of your life. You've supported your partner through ovulation tests and timed everything perfectly. Maybe you've been told the problem must be on her side, or that your basic numbers "look fine." That's not a complete evaluation — and you deserve one.
A male fertility consultation gives you what most workups never deliver: a thorough look at why conception hasn't happened yet, and a clear, personalized plan to change that.

01
You've been trying for 6+ months without success
Whether you're 28 or 38, six months of focused effort without conception is enough to start looking deeper. We don't make you wait a year to be taken seriously.

02
Your energy, libido, or performance has changed
Low testosterone and other hormonal imbalances can quietly affect both fertility and quality of life — often in subtle ways that standard testing misses. We address the root cause, not just the symptom.

03
You've been told her workup is "normal" but you still aren't pregnant
When the female evaluation comes back clear, the male side is often where the missing piece lives. Hormone imbalances, sperm health issues, undiagnosed metabolic dysfunction, and nutrient deficiencies are frequently overlooked.

04
You've never had a thorough male fertility evaluation
A single sperm count isn't a full picture. Hormonal status, metabolic health, and lifestyle factors all influence sperm production and function — and most men have never had these properly assessed.

05
You want to optimize before trying to conceive
Preconception planning is one of the most powerful steps a man can take. Optimizing hormones, sperm health, nutrients, and metabolic health before pregnancy improves both conception odds and outcomes.

How It Works
What Sets Our Fertility
Program Apart
01
Couple-centered, not patient-centered
Fertility involves two people. We treat both partners as patients and coordinate male factor evaluation — sperm health, testosterone, and hormonal optimization — alongside your partner's care. This single decision is one of the biggest reasons our success rates are what they are.
02
Root cause, not workaround
Conventional fertility care often jumps straight to medications or IVF without ever asking why conception isn't happening. We look first, treat what we find, and let your body do what it was designed to do whenever possible.
03
Beyond standard testing
Most male fertility workups stop at a single semen analysis. Our workup includes full hormonal panels, metabolic and insulin markers, nutrient status, and thyroid function — the factors most often missed in men.
04
Time you can actually use
A 90-minute initial consultation followed by detailed lab review. You won't be rushed through a 15-minute slot and handed a referral.
Comon Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
How long should we try to conceive before booking a consultation?
The traditional answer is "12 months under 35, 6 months over 35," but we don't make you wait that long to be heard. If you've been trying for 6 months without success — at any age — or if you have known issues like low testosterone, low libido, performance changes, or metabolic concerns, a consultation is absolutely appropriate. Preconception consultations are also one of the best investments you can make if you're planning to start trying soon.
Do you evaluate both partners?
Yes — and we believe this is one of the most important reasons our success rates are what they are. Roughly 40–50% of infertility involves a male factor, yet many fertility workups never thoroughly evaluate the male partner. Dr. Redmond has advanced men's health training through a Harvard-affiliated program and coordinates male hormonal and sperm health evaluation alongside your partner's care.
Do you do IVF or IUI?
We do not perform IVF or IUI in our office. Our focus is identifying and treating the underlying hormonal, metabolic, and lifestyle factors that prevent conception — restoring natural fertility whenever possible. Many of our patients conceive without ever needing assisted reproductive technology. When IVF or IUI is genuinely needed, we coordinate referrals to trusted reproductive endocrinologists and continue supporting you through the process.
Do you accept insurance?
We do not accept insurance, which allows us to spend 60–120 minutes per appointment getting to the root cause rather than working within the limits of an insurance-driven system. We accept HSA and FSA payments, and we provide claim forms for potential reimbursement. Initial consultation is $250, with lab testing typically ranging from $150–$800 depending on what's needed.
I live outside of South Dakota — can I still be seen?
Yes. Dr. Redmond is licensed for telemedicine in South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Montana, Minnesota, and Wyoming, with licensure expanding to Florida and Arizona soon. You can also travel to our Sioux Falls clinic for in-person care. Fertility care often involves labs, which we coordinate with local labs near you.
What's your success rate?
Our patients achieve greater than 70% pregnancy success rates, and our outcomes continue to improve as we refine our protocols. Success rates vary based on individual factors including age, underlying conditions, and how long you've been trying — all of which we discuss honestly during your consultation.
Can we keep our current care team while working with you?
Absolutely. Many patients work with us alongside their existing providers. Our integrative, root-cause approach complements traditional reproductive medicine, and we're happy to coordinate with your other providers.
